Passion for Growing

Growing fruit, vegetables and flowers is an amazing and very satisfying experience, it also gives you a real sense of achievement. We grow our seeds on site from within our 3 big polytunnels,  our growing methods are optimised using science including trailing methods and various technologies, we have a children’s garden and we are currently supporting two local school projects. Plant sales are held regularly, feel free to contact us for more information.

Caring about the Environment

We up-cycle, recycle and try to leave do our part to leave the planet healthier than we found it. We up-cycle pallets, oil drums and plastic bottles into planters, tables, barbecues, boilers and storage systems. Through up-cyclying we have designed and built bigger projects such as sheds, a home for chickens and an ambitions water conservation system. We have our own woodland craft area and an orchard. We are also a nature reserve and aspire to be Dudley’s only Eco-Community Hub.

Focused on Wellbeing

Growing plants or flowers can improve physical and mental health for people of all ages, similarly being involved in projects, being active in fresh air as well as being with friendly people has been proven to have a positive effect on a persons mental and physical wellbeing.

Based in the heart of the Dudley borough, Jasmine Road Community Gardens has something for everyone!

We aspire to be Dudley’s own Community Eco-Hub. Our vibrant one acre site has 3 polytunnels, workshops, community house, stage, pizza oven, picnic area, orchard, woodland craft workshop, children’s garden and much more.

Inspiring people in all we do.

Volunteering Opportunities – we are committed to supporting, enabling and celebrating volunteering in all its diversity.

Volunteers are at the heart of the Eco-Community Hub and we are always looking to expand our team. We need help with a range of activities from horticultural knowledge, building, science skills to performing, organising and fund-raising. Benefits of volunteering including fun, friendship, improving your self-confidence and employability skills.
